Book Launch – Take the Love with You

Take The Love With You is the collective effort of four bereaved parents who have lost children from a young baby up to 8 years old.  All at very different stages of their grief journey they found they still had many shared experiences and emotions. Alongside writer, Jim Hall, they have bravely written about their lived experience of loss, and the complexity of grief. They hope the book will deepen the conversation around child loss, support other bereaved parents and their loved ones, and unite families affected by the death of a child.

Bereaved parent, Gill, who has contributed her story of loss to the book says,

“Our genuine hope is to offer a hand of support. We get it. All of our journeys through grief have been very different, but we have found comfort in sharing our emotions. We have been brutally honest in our writing in the hope of dispelling the idea that grieving for a child is a single event. It’s an ongoing journey which you may never get to the end of. But knowing others have been on the same road can help”.
