Torquay to Cockington Village Walk

Please join us on our walk for bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings (18+) as we walk from Torquay, along the seafront to Livermead and then into delightful Cockington village.

We will then go into Cockington Country Park - a beautiful mix of picturesque gardens, open parkland, lakes and rural countryside. We will walk past an 11th century church, a historic manor house and delightful thatched cottages.

Please feel free to bring your own packed lunch or you can have lunch in the cafe in the Manor House or the Drum Inn. After the walk for those who would like to, we plan to stop in a cafe for a hot drink before we all head home.

This is a flat walk but good walking shoes are recommended and please dress appropriately for the time of year.

We welcome all fellow bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings over 18.

After you have booked please look out for an email from info@tcf.org.uk with further details in the week before the walk.

If you haven’t walked with us before, please don’t feel daunted or apprehensive about joining on your own. You will very quickly find yourself in a friendly, supportive community of other bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings.
