Winter 2022 - TCF Newsletter | www.tcf.org.uk 6 Fundraising Round Up A warm thank you to all our fundraisers and donors - large and small Our runners triumph at Royal Parks Half On a beautiful autumn day in October 9 runners took on the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2022. Katie Hobbs running for her dear niece, Ryleigh; friends Lucy, Jennie, Luke and Ben running in memory of Denver; Jonah Weiss running for his sister, Emily; and RBC Inspire winner, Catherine Blodwell running with Vicky Blodwell and Lindsay Long in memory of Noah and Archie. There were tears of joy and emotion at the finish line and most swore never to do it again! The team has raised £16,046 which is phenomenal. THANK YOU to all your supporters, friends, family and colleagues and most of all to your incredible dedication in running 13 miles! If you are interested in running for us next year please email jenny@tcf.org.uk to be kept updated.  An incredible year raising over £12,000! It was definitely a family affair when Chris, Anna and Lucy Read set up their year of fundraising in memory of their son and brother, Michael. From a static cycle in their local gym to the 100 miles of Ride London to the virtual London marathon they have been joined by friends and family for all the challenges. Raising over £12,000 and finishing their virtual marathon at Michael’s bench on the first anniversary of his death was especially poignant. They are undertaking Ride London next year and will take on Swim Serpentine too. Amazing work - we can’t thank you enough.
